This matcha green tea looks of a premium quality.The green powder is very fine, easily dissolves in the water.It has very nice, balanced taste - a bit nutty, a little bitter and sweet.This matcha feels very creamy because it is ceremonial grade. This tea is very healthy and full of 'goodies'.Easy and quick to prepare - just has to be whisked with hot water.Arrived packed in 30g airtight resealable bag.It has long best before date - 22 December 2022.I'm drinking matcha tea every day as it is very refreshing.

Let's start with the methodIn a standard1/2 pint mug, I put 1/2 teaspoon of powdered tea in the bottom and mixed with a small amount of water to make a thin paste, then added enough hot, not boiling water to half the mug. Next, I stirred and whisked the tea until slight foam appeared at the top. Finally, I topped up with warm water to about 3/4 of the mug. Left for 5 minutes. and stored the remaining opened bag in the fridge.The taste and textureI'm a first-time user of any green tea. The texture is smooth and lightly creamy, but not in any way thick and soup-like. Being a very fine powder, the tea dissolves well and leaves only little sediment when mixed properly.The taste and aroma is definitely 'green' and 'earthy with no sweetness and a tang left on the tongue and back of the throat. The after taste is the tangy, tannin part that lingers. There is no oiliness or deposit left in the mouth. Not as astringent as normal tea, smoother and with no acidity. The bottom of the cup is creamier and thicker due to some undissolved tea powder swirling around.The drink is mildly refreshing, not bitter or challenging, but does require a change of flavor expectations. The medicinal benefits are numerous and I won't more you by repeating what others have said and the research available. AS a drink, it's tolerable, refreshing, and satisfying. I also like the fact that I'm drinking an authentic product that's well prepared and organic.

This is a relatively small package of green tea. I've never seen any tea sold in this form before. It is loose but not really loose-leaf. It is very finely ground and more like dust than loose-leaf tea. It is so finely ground that a regular infuser really wouldn't work so it is probably best to simply pour some in a cup and pour water directly over the tea dust in the cup. You could stir the tea before each sip and consume the actual tea dust if you wanted to. If you prefer not to consume the actual tea, it settles at the bottom or the cup. You can slowly drink most of the cup without getting the tea at the bottom in your mouth. Neither the tea powder nor the brewed tea have much of a scent.It has a nice mellow green tea flavor. There is no bitterness. It is one of those teas that tastes and feels good and wholesome as you drink it. I wouldn't call it the best green tea I've ever had but it is definitely above average and comes as a reasonable price. It's a four star product.

I've never been a huge fan of green teas and matcha teas but was eager to try this as matcha tea is so good for you. It does seem that you don't get much for your money at 30g of tea but you don't put much in your cup to make your tea. I use a little less than the half a teaspoon (2.5ml), I use about 1.5ml and ice been pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean the tea tastes. It tastes green, if that makes sense and is really nice.You do need to keep stirring often because the tea doesn't fully dissolve (that's normal for matcha in my experience) so between each sip just give a quick stir before your next sip and you'll get the full clean fresh flavour.A little really does go a long way and once my tea has gone ill happily purchase more. You can use matcha powder in baking and cooking too, I've personally not tried it in baking I think I prefer to use it as tea.

I simply love matcha. Tastes great and it requires really small amount for a cup of tea. I take it twice a day sometimes thrice to be honest. I feel so fresh and it's a nice way to be in shape.

I love this Matcha powder. Strong flavor and the packaging is fancy. Only thing is it’s is on the pricy side for only 30g. However I only use half tsp so it should last for months. Not a Matcha expert myself but the smell seemed funny so I had to add milk. With milk I would say it is perfect.

I've been testing and using several matcha brands lately and this one is the most pure and clean one I've tasted to date.I always avoid boiling water for the initial mix and use slightly steaming water and that allows me to open up the matcha and take that first smell. This smells wonderful and after completing the mix and stir, it tastes great. It is very light with deep earthy tones and excellent color and body.The serving size is ~1g, but I usually use 2-3g per 16oz for the flavor I seek.Excellent!5/5

Matcha is an acquired taste – and it doesn’t help that the flavour can change drastically depending on the product and what you are combining it with. You really don’t want to skimp on matcha if you’d rather avoid wasting your money! I could also just ramble on about the myriads of great qualities and many uses of matcha, but you might be sick of reading the same stuff over and over again at this point, so I’ll leave that part up to you to check. The company’s website is filled with all the information you need!That out the way… whether you drink or eat it (i.e. as a cake ingredient), this is a WONDERFUL matcha powder! It blends beautifully without any lumps, and has a soothing, natural scent unlike many cheap copycat products. You can really taste this is an authentic, organic product, sourced directly from Japan.The packet is small at 30g, but I’d say it’s a great value considering this is the Ceremonial type (for newcomers or more casual matcha drinkers, I’d recommend the company’s 50g Premium pack). The packet itself is a pretty, resealable pouch and appears to be easily recyclable. It does not come in any extra, unnecessary packaging, so it’s a big bonus! いつもはティーバッグのお茶を飲んでいます。粉末は久しぶりですが、なかなか美味しかったです。回転寿司屋に置いてある粉末緑茶といえばわかるでしょうか。あれに渋みをややプラスしたのがこちらの粉末緑茶だと感じました。味に関しては満足というより、想像通りの可もなく不可もなくな味です。袋を開けた段階から良い匂いがしっかり漂ってきており、お湯を注いだ段階から、その風味が増してきて、美味しさを引き立ててくれています。喉元を過ぎると緑茶の渋みが良い感じに口に残り、非常に心地よいです。賞味期限は注文日から約1年ありました。
