Hibiscus tea is a delicious type of non-caffeine tea made in India. It has the Hibiscus and rose petals plus spices to make a delicious cup of tea. It is a perfect way to start a busy day or unwind after a busy day.

This tastes just like it sounds, like a rose tea with a little hibiscus. They have a mesh tea bag that sometimes is not sealed all the way (1/20). They steep well and taste good (even when you forget to take the tea bag out). When I first opened the packet I can smell the tea and anticipate the flavor.

This perfectly blended mixture of 40% tart hibiscus, 20% cardamom, 12.5% fennel, 12.5% chamomile, 5% star anise, 5% rose petals, 5% blue corn flower and 5% rose extracts, packed into a pyramid bag made of nylon mesh, makes for a subtly scrumptious herbal tea. It's a delicious combination that's different than most hibiscus teas, which usually offer a tart one note flavor. This hibiscus tea has a multilayered aroma and flavor that features both complexity and subtlety.The hibiscus elements are pleasingly tart and fruity, but not excessively so. The spices are warm and deeply satisfying but do not overwhelm the palette. The finish features tartness notes, spiciness and subtle sweetness that's long-lasting on the tongue. The nylon mesh pyramid bag allows the leaves and spices to fully open in the cup, making for a more efficient transfer of flavor. This is now may favorite hibiscus blend, one that I strongly recommend.
