The Macha Toasted Rice Sencha is so odd but so good! Toasted flavors, deep green flavors (at first it even reminded me of the toasted seaweed in Japanese mixed snack bags), very full-bodied & actually filling. A great afternoon/luncheon tea.

I only buy these nettle leaves for the health benefits and when I want a decaf tea. In this particular bag, the leaves taste very fresh. I grow herbs to use in cooking and teas, and these taste like I grew them myself. I don't expect leaves from thousands of miles away to taste this good.

Beautiful golden color. Nice aroma. Very mellow green tea flavor. There is no harsh aftertaste or bitterness. This is my favorite green tea so far. The amount of tea in the bag looks very small but since this tea is rolled into a small ball, it expands upon steeping and delivers almost a loose tea flavor. Excellent tea.
