Borosilicate is solid glass that is resistant to heat do you will not burn yourself. This set of 4 3.5 oz tea cups is elegant and perfect to serve colorful tea. The round and curvy cups are not thick, but enough to last a little bit paying attention. That being said they are still fragile in the dish washer...and if you are clumsy, it is going to be a real challenge washing them by hand...but it is worth it. Take the bigger size if you are a big tea drinker.

So I baught the heart shaped tea set in multiple colours, it's exactly as pictured. They are so much more adorable in person when you hold and admire them. Came superbly packed! The vibrant orange box is lovely.They make an excellent addition to my kitchen as they are so beautiful to show off on display when I'm not using them, i had so many compliments when I hosted a dinner back in Christmas for family. And shown friends over pictures. The fact they come I'm a variety of colours means no one will ever get their tea cup mixed up.I highly recommend this brand and seller.
