Bought this for my daughter for practice for the tea ceremony at school. It is very easy to use an the tea tastes great. With my daughter's help, we made a tea in no time. Cleanup was easy as well. Very happy with our purchase. It is a complete set to get you going. I would definitely recommend to beginners. Not much tea is in the initial set, so you will have to buy more tea shortly after you buy this set.

Beautiful and elegant. I broke the base but that's due to me being clumsy. I am going to reorder another one. Other than that, I enjoy using it for my loose tea leaves and especially the flowering tea. It add ambience after a pretty stressful and hectic day.

年末年始をお抹茶と共にゆったり過ごしたいなと思い、購入しました。それぞれ個別で買うよりも全然安かったのでこちらのセットにしました。あまりにもお安いので少し疑っていたのですが、茶道経験が全くない者の意見ですが、値段の割に上等なものが届きました。茶筅は2週間ほど前から毎日1、2回ほど使っていますが、今のところ1本も欠けていません。付属している抹茶の｢八女の華｣ですが、近所のスーパーに売っていた森半のおけいこ用抹茶と、宇治香園の抹茶鶴聖と比較してみたところ、苦味や渋みがほとんどなく、甘くて泡立ちもよかったです。初心者でも写真のように綺麗に点てることができました。調べると八女茶はもともと渋みが少ない品種だとか。すっかりお抹茶にハマってしまって毎日飲もうと思っているので、もう少し安いライン(100g2000円弱)の八女抹茶｢もくれん｣などをまた星野園さんから購入しようと思います。
