This is my first time trying matcha green tea. After doing a lot of research I found that matcha green tea has variety of health benefits, like helping to prevent heart disease, type 2 diabetes and even encouraging weight loss. The test is great little bit biter but tolerable and has good smooth texture and didn’t have smell. I mixed it up with half milk and half water and only used half tea spoon as recommended. The packaging is nice and resealable and contain 30gram and cost £7.49. The ingredients is used is 100% organic. I’m really happy with matcha also I add this in my smoothies and will be experimenting with it. I highly recommend it.

This is the first time I got the matcha and made matcha tea. I love the flavor I don't have a traditional Japanese instrument so I just used the modern way. The tea tastes amazing very creamy and tastes very good and it needs to be a very small amount and the delicate taste is just amazing packing is great after the used it closes perfectly. I glad I get to try that. Very nice tea.

For those who don’t have that mixing tool thing to foam up matcha - protein bottle shaker or milk frother will just do. Matcha is very good in terms of flavour, not fish tank water as one described. It’s quite grassy. Unfortunately expensive for the amount you get, I made around 6-7 drinks and I’ve finished the powder.

It appears after a little research there is a big difference between general green tea powder and matcha and also a difference between matcha and ceremonial grade matcha. Ceremonial grade happens to be the result of much skill, from de-veining leaves to shading properly for the right amount of time and grinding into the super fine powder it is.This Ceremonial grade matcha is very good. I'm not a big fan of herbal teas but matcha i actually really enjoy. The powder is very fine and blends effortlessly in mid-hot water. It gives a wonderful light green froth and the powder its self is a beautiful vibrant green. If you do not fancy a strong taste, using half the amount suggested is still delicious.Overall delighted by this quality match tea in a resealable pouch. It tastes good and has many health benefits. Brilliant tea.

My wife likes matcha very much. The greener the color, the stronger the fragrance, and the more obvious the umami taste of seaweed, the bitterness and astringency will be correspondingly reduced. This matcha has a strong and pure tea fragrance and fine powder, suitable for baking, beverages, and desserts. 30g matcha powder is expensive. But it tastes really good.

I fell in love with this product when I visited Japan back in 2012. Japanese truly love this product and use it almost everywhere. I tried the ice cream and really loved the taste and the colour, weirdly.Since then, I was looking for matcha powder and learnt two things;They are not so popular in other countries, but Japan.They are expensive!Comparing the prices, this one is probably is one of the most affordable ones. 30 grams selling at £7.49 (at the moment of writing this review).This matcha tea came in a small resealable bag. Mine is best before 22.12.2022 (giving me 2 years before it expires).Bear in mind, once opened this tea needs to be left in the fridge and used within 2 months after opening.I’d strongly recommend to download the matcha manual (there is a scan on the back side of the pack), which will give you detailed information about matcha ceremonials in Japan and recipe suggestions.So far, I only tried the tea, following the instructions. Very easy to make and the consistency was smooth. It certainly did taste like the one I tried back in Japan. It says that it is antioxidant and helps with metabolism. It certainly worked for me.

This matcha green tea looks of a premium quality.The green powder is very fine, easily dissolves in the water.It has very nice, balanced taste - a bit nutty, a little bitter and sweet.This matcha feels very creamy because it is ceremonial grade. This tea is very healthy and full of 'goodies'.Easy and quick to prepare - just has to be whisked with hot water.Arrived packed in 30g airtight resealable bag.It has long best before date - 22 December 2022.I'm drinking matcha tea every day as it is very refreshing.

Let's start with the methodIn a standard1/2 pint mug, I put 1/2 teaspoon of powdered tea in the bottom and mixed with a small amount of water to make a thin paste, then added enough hot, not boiling water to half the mug. Next, I stirred and whisked the tea until slight foam appeared at the top. Finally, I topped up with warm water to about 3/4 of the mug. Left for 5 minutes. and stored the remaining opened bag in the fridge.The taste and textureI'm a first-time user of any green tea. The texture is smooth and lightly creamy, but not in any way thick and soup-like. Being a very fine powder, the tea dissolves well and leaves only little sediment when mixed properly.The taste and aroma is definitely 'green' and 'earthy with no sweetness and a tang left on the tongue and back of the throat. The after taste is the tangy, tannin part that lingers. There is no oiliness or deposit left in the mouth. Not as astringent as normal tea, smoother and with no acidity. The bottom of the cup is creamier and thicker due to some undissolved tea powder swirling around.The drink is mildly refreshing, not bitter or challenging, but does require a change of flavor expectations. The medicinal benefits are numerous and I won't more you by repeating what others have said and the research available. AS a drink, it's tolerable, refreshing, and satisfying. I also like the fact that I'm drinking an authentic product that's well prepared and organic.

I've never been a huge fan of green teas and matcha teas but was eager to try this as matcha tea is so good for you. It does seem that you don't get much for your money at 30g of tea but you don't put much in your cup to make your tea. I use a little less than the half a teaspoon (2.5ml), I use about 1.5ml and ice been pleasantly surprised at how fresh and clean the tea tastes. It tastes green, if that makes sense and is really nice.You do need to keep stirring often because the tea doesn't fully dissolve (that's normal for matcha in my experience) so between each sip just give a quick stir before your next sip and you'll get the full clean fresh flavour.A little really does go a long way and once my tea has gone ill happily purchase more. You can use matcha powder in baking and cooking too, I've personally not tried it in baking I think I prefer to use it as tea.

I simply love matcha. Tastes great and it requires really small amount for a cup of tea. I take it twice a day sometimes thrice to be honest. I feel so fresh and it's a nice way to be in shape.

I love this Matcha powder. Strong flavor and the packaging is fancy. Only thing is it’s is on the pricy side for only 30g. However I only use half tsp so it should last for months. Not a Matcha expert myself but the smell seemed funny so I had to add milk. With milk I would say it is perfect.
