I am new to matcha and I actually really like the flavor of this one! Tastes smooth and is not bitter at all!! I took off a star because when it arrived, the packaging was a little destroyed, but the product was still sealed. I think it’s a good price for the value!

Mein Anspruch an dieses Matcha Pulver war nie es für einen Matcha Tee zu verwenden. Nach dem Sport gebe ich ein bisschen in meinen Shake im ihn ein bisschen aufzupeppen. Dies funktioniert super und macht mich gut wach.Im Tee allerdings schmeckt er eher etwas stumpf. Nicht wirklich dafür geeignet, es sei denn man ist eine bessere Qualität nicht gewöhnt.Ansonsten aber schickes Glass, welches wirklich randvoll mit dem Matcha Pulver ist und es wird noch etwas für den guten Zweck getan.

Nice flavor. I first mix with hot water, then add a bit of extra creamy Oat milk, and stevia sweetener. Makes a decent cup. But, not quite as good as the powder that I got from a well known high end food store chain. PureChimp is great for the price. The Food store chain’s version is $1 per packet. Ouch! And they don’t offer online ordering and I live too far away from one to get delivery.

I have heard a lot about PureChimp matcha green tea and wanted to try it for myself. For the price, it's great value for money but it's not a high-grade ceremonial tea - more like a culinary grade. I was a little disappointed with the purchase.

Decent quality matcha that mixes well and is very strong in terms of caffeine. While being smooth in texture and taste. I wouldn't put it quite at ceremonial grade but for a daily drinker I would say your quantity/price to quality is better than most. 15 dollars for 50g for a quality above culinary grade is pretty fair. But I wouldn't call this cerimonial and definitely not imperial grade.

I haven’t done traditional matcha, as I’ve been doing cold matcha, however this is very good. I’m no expert on green tea, not one bit! I can only go by looks and taste. It has a nice green color and I don’t think it has like that fishy taste that some green teas have, which is a plus for me… Its smoothed to me. I do recommend.

This was the first matcha I’d ever purchased to make a matcha drink at home. I was looking for something good quality and with good flavor that wasn’t too expensive, thus going with Pure Chimp. The flavor was slightly bitter but still pleasant. After whisking, there were still some very small clumps leftover (though that might be a user error). After doing more research about the different grades of matcha, I doubt this one is truly ceremonial grade, but it’s very good for beginners as well as everyday drinking.

To those that have experienced the Dunkin Donuts Green Tea Matcha, you will immediately notice a difference taste in this product. Unlike the dunkin donuts it is not sweetened, and has a very light, slightly bitter-like taste to it.I mixed this product with almond milk for extra nutritional and healthy benefits. The container size which it comes in is also small.

I’ve become quite a matcha snob lately (still very amateur), and decided to give this brand a shot; as it is priced towards the bottom of ceremonial grades. It’s color doesn’t look as bright as the other ceremonial grades I’ve tried. And the flavor is in between higher quality ceremonial grades, and culinary grade that I have tried in the past (slight “dirt” taste, that’s present more in culinary grades). So I guess overall you get what you pay for.

This is the first matcha I’ve tried so I don’t have much to compare it to (other than DD). But, I am super satisfied with it and will be purchasing again.UPDATE: After my second purchase, the box came ripped up and the matcha wasn’t even in the box, other than that the product itself was great.

Pretty good matcha, not the most amazing but for the price it’s quite nice. The small glass jar package is cute, and the cinnamon flavour is unique.
