I like the design on this chawan, but it is much smaller than the other chawan I have gotten in the past. If I want to use it on a regular basis I'm going to have to get a special small chasen because a regular size whisk doesn't fit well in the bowl to mix the matcha.

Bought these for my sisters birthday as I saw something very similar in a high end hotel which we both loved. They arrived on time and come in a really lovely classy purple and gold box. Cups all look lovely, I’m thinking of maybe keeping these for myself and getting her something else ☺️Update: I gave these to my sis on her bday in a busy restaurant and she absolutely loved them. I had people coming to the table to admire them ☺️
