I purchased this as a gift for my mother's birthday, and now i'm back in the will and my stupid brother can suck it!The set is simple and very elegant, although on the small side. But you overlook that quickly with how easy and fun it is to brew flowering or loose leaf tea. On top of that, the included sampler pack is actually very tasty and the flowers look brilliant in the water and crystal clear kettle.I will probably actually get one for myself, and embark on another caffeine induced hobby. This is a great set.

This is a beautiful tea set and is such a unique gift. I found this while searching for different things to buy someone when you're out of ideas. I have never heard of blooming tea. I recommend this set to anyone because it comes with everything you may need! Teabloom's customer service is also excellent. Very understanding and responds quickly!

Beautiful and exquisite! Perfect for the holidays and also a nice centerpiece to any get together. I love it! The glasses are a bit small but the way its shaped and made insulates the tea and keeps it hot but doesnt burn your fingers.

i love it! A little small for us and kind of delicate but VERY cute. I just wish they made the glass a bit thicker so it didn't feel so delicate. Also, the slits slits in the glass infuser should be longer I think. That way you can make more tea at one time.

I absolutely love my new teapot set. The set itself is gorgeous, and when you add the blooming flowers, it's even more beautiful. It makes a wonderful centerpiece and conversation piece. I was confused about the size of the teapot, so I contacted Teabloom customer service, and John was incredibly helpful. He answered my original question (see answer below list), which was great, but then he spent about 20 minutes giving me all kinds of helpful tips for getting the best out of my tea set:1. Do not over-boil the water. Over-boiling removes oxygen and can cause the tea bloom to float rather than sink as it's designed to do.2. Do not over-fill the teapot. Over-filling can also cause the tea bloom to float.3. Do not seep the tea bloom for longer than ~10 min. Seeping for too long can make the tea bitter.4. If you and your guests are not drinking the tea fast enough to refill the teapot every ~10 min., you can remove the tea bloom from the teapot so it won't over-seep. Alternatively, you can empty the tea into another container, and fill the teapot with regular cool tap water, so that you still have the tea bloom on display as a centerpiece (which will look nice for a couple of days).5. If you live in an area where the water is 'heavy' (a lot of minerals, etc.), you might want to use filtered water to ensure the best tea bloom display and flavor.6. If you want a stronger tea, you can add loose tea, which can also be very pretty.7. The jasmine teas are lighter in flavor, the berry and rose teas are the strongest in flavor.Answer to original question: The box says that the teapot is 34 oz, but it's really ~40 oz.Additional comments:Other reviewers have mentioned how small the teacups are, but I think they're perfect. The size has a very Asian feel - dainty and exquisite. It is a wholly different experience than slurping from a 64 oz Big & Thirsty soda from the local 7-Eleven. You feel like you've entered a different world where you can savor the moment and the taste. Very relaxing.Bottom line: You're purchasing a wonderful experience here, not just a tea set - an experience I didn't realize I would enjoy so much, but now look forward to.

Good tea set. The strainer is not so great for loose leaf tea since small leaves will get stuck in the slits and block the water from draining. Also you would need a bristle brush to clean it out. Would recommend larger loose leaf for this stainer or tea bags. I will just use a regular tea strainer for my loose leaf. I used the Genmai Matcha Green Tea and some black tea loose leaf.

Absolutely love this set. The kettle and glasses are perfect for brewing and serving blooming tea. The set also includes a variety of blooming pods which can be re-used 2 times.

LOVE this. And I could not get over how delicious the tea is! Used this for a bridal shower and everyone was amazed not only by the beautiful display, but the taste and the sheer amount of times we could refill with water and the taste never seemed to wane. A+++++
