It's a good enough teapot for what I need, I don't need more than one cup at a time. But if you're looking to steep multiple drinks in the same teapot, this isn't for you unfortunately. It is a nice design and feels good to touch. I will say I was hoping the pour would be better - you can see in my video it starts splashing from only a few inches up. It also tends to run down the spout and over the side instead of into the cup when you first start pouring. I would have liked to be able to see how well it pours before buying. But it's convenient, small, and pretty, and definitely will make very flavorful tea as you use it.

my first clay pot and i really like it. nice design on it and it seems to help the flavor of my oolongs. some seem to like the lid to stick upside down and i dont think its got that but the price is great and delivery is always good. i would buy it again.

I'm not an expert on yixing teapots -- but I've read about them and this one has four signs of a true yixing teapot, namely tiny white spots (mica), tiny black spots (iron), tiny holes on the surface, and tiny bumps. The lid also fits rather nicely, and when the teapot is placed upside down on a flat surface (without the lid) it doesn't wobble easily. The only downside I found is that the filter holes had some remnants of clay (they aren't perfectly round and smooth), which suggest this teapot is not a result of top notch, precise craftsmanship -- but it is definitely worth its price.

This teapot is good for just one cup of tea, which is what I wanted it for. I can make the tea by the cup and enjoy it. It has a lovely etched lotus flower design on it. It is perfect for my needs and I am enjoying using the teapot.

Quality for the money it’s not overly expensive it’s not the greatest little teapot in the world but it does what it’s supposed to do.... You can make tea in it! If you’re trying to brew on a budget this might be for you.

This is a lovely little purple clay tea pot. However, I can’t decide if it’s true Yixing Zisha. It’s quite lightweight, but the right color. It holds heat well, but slightly leaks with the lid clothed. I do still enjoy it and the peony etch is very pretty.
