Bought as birthday gift for a close friend.Couldn't send it back as had no more time to get another 1 of these.The case was quite dirty, the design was smudged and cheap looking.It looks like someone had it, dirtied it, sent it back and I ended up with it.I tried my best to clean it so I could give it to her and not feel embarrassed

I love the coloring on this little teapot and it does a decent job keeping the water warm (fill with water heated separately in an elective kettle). I bought it to make tea with loose leaves and it keeps them contained with easy cleanup. The one drawback is that when you pour, the lid has a tendency to fall off, so you need to hold on, and the gold topper does heat up.

Great teapot for a two person household. Tea residue stuck in the pot gets hard to wipe off, my fist is not small enough to get in. But I guess if you just let it sit there for longer, the tea will dissolve in water.

I bought this tea pot as a Christmas gift, so I can't testify as to whether it keeps the tea warm longer, is easy to handle or easy to wash; but I do love the look. It arrived in good condition. If the friend I'm giving it to ends up wanting something different, I'll be happy to keep it. The only reason I gave four stars is that it hasn't been used yet.
