I really didn't know what to expect with this tea. I heard my coworkers talking about pu erh tea and I asked them what it is. I ordered some the same day and waited excitedly. I really like that the tea cakes are individually packaged, it makes it easier to prepare. You also get a lot for the money. Now to the flavor; Its defiantly black tea, but it's much more complex and layered. I had my friends and family try it and they all described the flavor differently. I really think it's different for each person. I really enjoy the tea, I actually prefer it over regular black tea.

Really nice tea. I've never tried this type of tea before, and I was quite impressed with the flavor. It's got a certain richness that regular green tea doesn't have.The customer service department is also very friendly. They include a little card with the shipment and if you respond, they get in touch to make sure everything was okay.I recommend you give this tea a try.

I got hooked on Puer when Peets Coffee used to carry it. They carried it in this specific shape and I came to prefer it to large bricks because it's portioned out perfectly. I generally brew each one at least twice which results in two dark, full-bodied, flavorful cups. Subsequent brewings are less full-bodied and caffeinated so I sometimes brew again later in the day to enjoy a lighter cup with less caff. Value is great (less than half the cost of Peets), and quality is great.

Asiatea is my new go-to for tea. I drink Pu'erh every morning and Asiatea's offerings are incredible. For those trying to switch to tea from coffee, this tea will give you the rich, strong flavor you are used to, but has all the great health benefits of fermented tea. I get all the energy without the jitters I sometimes get from coffee. I now have some green tea cake from Asiatea and I am looking forward to drinking that later in the day. I highly recommend their products.

I buy the large block puh'er and saw these when I last ordered. If you are like me and start the day with a decent cup of coffee then want to switch to a bit lighter drink thereafter, the taste is as good as any block puh'er I have purchased, and the form factor is very convenient. Two of these in my tea 'cauldron' gives me a robust tea for the rest of the day. I can save my 'big block' for weekends or when we have company and group participation in the tea-making is in order.The package claims Yannan origin and I would have to believe it.

These minicabs are easy to use and the tea itself is quite good. It is not hard to break up the little cakes and whatever information you need re: how to break them up and brew the tea is online at the tea company website. Customer service is also readily available.

Really enjoyed this tea. It had great flavor when brewed normally or strong. It had a code for free tea, which I used. Not only did I get a free product sent to me, the seller contacted me to ask which tree I would like to receive. I liked the other one a bit better, but would buy either one again. I plan to try more teas by this seller.

I usually drink puerh aged at least ten years, but this came up as a suggestion, and since it is so inexpensive I decided to give it a try. I was pleasantly surprised at the richness of the tea. Usually inexpensive factory-made puerh that isn't aged for long is weak, thin, maybe a little bitter. When the quality isn't good, what the seller often calls an earthy taste frequently reminds me more of mold than earth. This tea isn't like that. These cakes have a surprisingly full flavor that actually IS earthy. I like it enough to try other products from the company. I would encourage the manufacturer to make available tea that has been aged two, three, or even four to five times as long. I would certainly try a more aged product from this company.
