This tea is delicious. I break each disk into 4 and steep 1/4 multiple times. The tea tastes good hot and cold and doesn’t need anything added to it.

I had traveled in China for my job several years ago. While there I had one of my coworkers introduce me to Puerh tea, which I found I enjoyed (Also jasmine pearl green tea but that's another review). For me it's not so much about weight loss or health benefits as I simply like a nice cup of tea in the afternoon as opposed to my morning coffee.Before I went home I purchased some Puerh tablets very similar to these, just from the local grocery store in Nanjing. Those were from the ChiTea company. Nothing fancy just the sort of run of the mill Puerh that the Chinese folks in our company's Nanjing office drank on the day to day (those that drank Puerh that is). For a long while I was unable to find puerh tea locally here in the US and even online I could only find the large cakes of puerh and that only in grades of quality and price that I find excessive for my personal wants.This Jinglong tea is very similar in style and flavor to that tea, and of good but not excellent quality. It's also in that tablet form that I find very convenient for an afternoon brew up. That is exactly what I was looking for.I should say I'm no tea aficionado. I just like Puerh Tea and this is good enough for me.It gets 5 stars from be because it is reasonably priced, good quality, and hits the mark for a general purpose puerh tea and is similar to the tea that I actually bought in China in this convenient tablet form. I can't beat that for the price!I will note that these tablets are slightly smaller than the ones I had purchased in China. I comfortably get two cups of tea from one full tablet. However I will also note that I'm using American ~9oz coffee mugs as opposed to standard ~6oz tea cups, and I like all my teas rather strong. A person that prefers a milder brew or uses the more standard tea cup size could probably get 4 teacups from one tablet.This tea strikes me as rather heavy on the caffeine. Two 9oz mugs brewed strongly as above (using one tablet) winds me up pretty hard. I typically find one 9oz mug brewed using half a tablet for about 5 minutes with water just off the boil is a nice robust brew that gives me a lift without being excessive.I hope this is useful for someone. All in all when I run out of this supply I'll come back for exactly the same thing, so I hope this seller sticks around. I'm happy to find a place to buy this style of tea in this tablet format in a good quality!

Flavor was a little different then expected but still good, just add a little natural honey from Costco and it's even better.

This is probably the most funky tea I have ever had. It does have a bit of a fishy taste/smell, HOWEVER it is easily covered up by adding another flavor tea. Has a smooth mouth feel, reminds me of good coffee. The bamboo wrapping it came in was charming. This is a great base tea if you like to experiment with different blends.

Delicious! Came packaged really well. Cakes are hard as rocks and impossible to break without a hammer (that’s what I finally used) but one small cake will make 4 cups of tea and you can reuse it at least 3x. Super value. Smokey and excellent tasting quality. I have tried a few before and this one is my favourite pu’reh tea brand so far.

Does the work, tastes better than I expected.

The packaging was neat, clean and tidy. The tablets are hard pressed, weigh around 7-9g each and bit harder to break up. The tea quality is decent for everyday drinking, it’s bits and not full leaves. Still tastes good- it’s smooth, a little sweet, sometimes get a little bit of dankness. I haven’t experience any fishy odors or flavors. I can get multiple brews (8-15) depending on how long it’s brewed. Overall, I liked this tea and will probably keep this on hand.
